Oopps..Chose the wrong concert, apparently. Yet a few weeks ago we were in Prague and heard the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra ( http://www.PragueConcerts.com ) play at the famous Art Nouveau "Municipal House." No snob concert, there. It was amazing to hear nearly 100 1st class classical & jazz musicians play romantic and thrilling film music + classical music that everybody loves. Wow... The huge orchestra with oceans of strings and 100+ year old acoustics of the drop dead gorgeous hall are so incredible, you almost wanted to cry. I was not disappointed. Sensual, romantic, thrilling, and yes awesome, for sure. None the less, what I heard in Prague made me understand why some of the biggest film companies in the world go to Prague to record with those guys and gals, apparently, from the program. Check it out next time...it's worth the trip to Prague just to hear them! OK...it was not a snob concert. As a former tenor to a former violinist, you should hear these guys next time! They love to play this stuff and it shows! You won't be disappointed - I'll go back for sure.
